Day 1 :

Nairobi - Mt Kenya

You leave Nairobi at 8.30 am, transfer to Sirimon Park Gate (2,660m) the base of your Mt. Kenya. At Sirimon Gate, you will meet with your guides, porters and chefs. Take lunch at the Sirimon Gate at around 12 noon. Begin the 9km trek to Old Moses (3300m). Have a stop over at Sirimon George to enjoy the views and take photographs. Have another break enroute to hydrate and enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Kenya. This trek takes approximately 3 hours. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Day 2 :

Mt. Kenya

Have breakfast at Old Moses. Depart the camp at 0830 hrs for Shiptons (4200m). The trek is 14 kms long and takes approximately 8 hours. Have enroute lunch at a designated lunch point. Dinner and overnight at Shiptons Camp which overlooks the 3 majestic peaks Batian, Nelion and Lenana. Main Destination: Mount Kenya Accommodation: Shipton's Hut Meals & Drinks: - All meals included - Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 3 :

Mt. Kenya

Depart the camp at 0300 hrs, navigate the stony terrain while ascending to point Lenana. Arrival at Lenana will be at 0630 hrs. This day will allow you to take photographs of the sunrise as you enjoy the breathtaking views. After summiting, you will descend to Shipton for breakfast. The trek to and from Peak Lenana to Shiptons is 5kms. Later descend to Old Moses with enroute lunch. The walk from Shiptons to Old Moses is 14 kms. Arrival at Old Moses at approximately 1700 hrs. Dinner and overnight at Old Moses Camp. Main Destination: Mount Kenya Accommodation: Old Moses Mountain Camp Meals & Drinks: - All meals included - Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 4 :

Mt. Kenya - Nairobi

Have breakfast at the camp at 0700 hrs and descend through the rainforest for approximately 2-3 hours. Arrival at Sirimon Gate, where you will meet your driver for a transfer to Nanyuki. Have lunch in Nanyuki and depart Nanyuki for Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel. Main Destination: Nairobi (City) Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour) Meals & Drinks: - Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) - Drinking water (Other drinks not included) End of tour (See Getting There for more details). Additional accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost. A transfer back to the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.
